Hernandez is a seasoned pro, expert at all the necessary tactics including both conventional bait-and-switch, pitch-bait fishing, and flyfishing.
He drives a top-shelf boat too, a classic Sunny Briggs Custom Carolina Sportfish built in Wanchese, North Carolina. This 1988 cold-molded fishing machine recently underwent a complete refit including new Cummins 6CTA 8.3L engines with ZF transmissions, a new Northern Lights 6kW generator, and added fuel capacity. A full restoration from bow to stern, keel to hardtop.
State-of-the-art Furuno electronics include a 6kW radar as well as a TruEcho CHIRP fish finder, and Starlink capabilities keep everyone on board in touch with the world. Guests ride in comfort in the air-conditioned salon, and there’s a full galley with bunks and a spacious marine head to make the solid ride of this rig as comfortable as it can be.
